About Us

 TXPSD is a 501c (3) non‑profit organization dedicated to Public Safety Diving, Search and Rescue/ Recovery, and associated Water Borne Public Safety Operations. TXPSD is comprised of volunteer civilians living within the State of Texas who are highly trained and experienced in those specialized disciplines. The organization’s primary goals are to provide those local and State Agencies the ability to acquire valuable and intense training, mission-related equipment, and or funding. 

TXPSD’s mission is (1) to support local, Federal, and state agencies, in the performance of their maritime operations related to Texas’ land, marine, coastal, and riverine environments; and (2) to support TMF operations in support of homeland security, natural disaster, ers and state agencies while serving the citizens and people of Texas. TXPSD is manned and operated by volunteers who are residents of the State of Texas and exists to support all those volunteers and underfunded agency personnel who are willing to subject themselves to an ever-evolving environment known to exert potentially fatal outcomes on their actions while in the performance of their assigned duties. These very specialized and highly critical missions demand the very best equipment available and all the support possible to answer the needs required of those volunteers and to enable all those serving to execute their mission to the best outcome or conclusion possible when called on. At Texas Public Safety Divers, our mission is to provide the best scuba and free diving experience possible. We aim to offer top-quality equipment and highly skilled instructors to ensure your safety and enjoyment in the water.
